Advisorbox abides by a code of ethical principals and 8 different company policies. All Advisorbox employees agree to abide by and to not violate company ethics and policies when dealing with coworkers, professional peers, contractors, clients, leads, vendors and candidates.

1. MANAGER'S GUIDING CODE OF ETHICAL PRINCIPALS

All Advisorbox executives, managers and mentors are expected and required to maintain ethical behavior and embrace the company's guiding ethical principals and be a living example of these principals. Each Manager at Advisorbox agrees to embrace and follow these ethical principals.

The Ethical Principles Are:

Judgment – I will do my best to exercise good judgment in my decisions and actions. I will shrewdly assess situations and circumstances in order to draw sound conclusions and actions accordingly. If at anytime I am not sure of my judgment concerning a situation I will seek out the insight of my supervisor.

Integrity – I will be honest, fair, impartial and unbiased in my dealings both with and on behalf of the employees and clients and vendors I may come in contact with. I will live up to Advisorbox's ethical principles, even when confronted by professional, financial and social risks.

Excellence – I will perform my duties to foster a culture of excellence and high quality in everything I do.

Accountability – I will live up to this trust through doing the right thing in every company situation and being a good steward of the company's human, intellectual, physical and fiscal resources given to my care.

Respect – I recognize the inherent dignity and rights of every person, and I will do my utmost to fulfill my resulting responsibility to treat each person with fairness, compassion and decency.

Honesty – I will not say things that are false. I will never deliberately mislead. I will be as candid as possible, openly and freely sharing information, as appropriate to the confidentiality of the relationship.

Promise Keeping – I will go to great lengths to keep my commitments. I will diligently make the effort to not make promises that can't be kept and I will not make promises on behalf of the Company unless I have the authority to do so.

Fairness – I will follow a process and achieve outcomes that a reasonable person would call just, evenhanded and non-arbitrary.

Respect for Others – I will be open and direct in my communication, and receptive to positive influence. I will honor and value the abilities and contributions of others, embracing the responsibility and accountability for my actions in this regard.

Compassion – I will maintain an awareness of the needs of others and act to meet those needs whenever possible. I will also minimize harm whenever possible. I will act in ways that are consistent with the company's commitment to social responsibility.

Professional Representation – I will at all times provide a professional representation of myself and company to all employees and clients. I will not use profanity, tell tasteless or dirty jokes, work while impaired in any way, or represent myself in any way to an employee or client that would cause shame or embarrassment to Advisorbox or represent Advisorbox in an unprofessional way.

2. ANTI-HARASSMENT POLICY

Advisorbox is committed to a workplace free from unlawful discrimination, which includes harassment based a person's race, religion, color, sex, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic protected by law. Harassment occurs, contrary to this policy, when an employee is subjected to offensive treatment based upon his or her protected characteristic. Any form of prohibited harassment is wrong and will not be tolerated. Harassment can occur in the course of written or oral communications of any kind, or physical touching. Offensive conduct of any kind directed at a person because of his or her protected characteristics will not be tolerated.

Sexual harassment is one form of harassment that is forbidden by this policy. Sexual harassment occurs when unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, or other verbal or physical conduct are present and if (1) submission to that conduct is made either explicitly or implicitly a term or condition of an employee's employment, (2) submission to or rejection of that conduct by an employee is used as the basis for employment decisions affecting that employee, or (3) that conduct has the purpose or effect of substantially interfering with an employee's work performance or creating an intimidating, hostile, or offensive working environment.

Employees who believe they have been subjected to harassment, or have observed such behavior concerning another employee, even if it is not directed at them personally, must immediately report the conduct directly to the CEO.

Reports of harassment will be investigated promptly, and appropriate action will be taken if forbidden harassment has been found to exist. Anyone who has been found to have participated in improper harassment will be disciplined, up to and including discharge. Because of the need to investigate reports, confidentiality cannot be guaranteed. Nevertheless, no one who reports harassment will suffer retaliation of any kind because of his or her report. Anyone who believes he or she has suffered retaliation for making a report or for cooperating in an investigation should report their concerns in the same manner described above.

3. NON-DISCRIMINATION POLICY

Advisorbox does not discriminate on the basis of an applicant's or employee's color, race, national origin, religion, sex, age, status as a qualified individual with a disability, sexual orientation, or any other basis made unlawful by any applicable law or ordinance. Likewise, Advisorbox demands that its employees refrain from unlawful discrimination against applicants or co-employees. Unlawful discrimination includes failing to provide a reasonable accommodation to a qualified individual with a disability.

Employees believing they have suffered unlawful discrimination must immediately report their concerns to the company CEO.

Reports of discrimination will be investigated promptly, and appropriate action will be taken if discrimination has been found to exist. Anyone who has been found to have been participating in discrimination will be disciplined, up to and including discharge. Because of the need to investigate reports, confidentiality cannot be guaranteed. No one who reports discrimination will suffer retaliation of any kind because of his or her report. 4. CODE OF ETHICS POLICY

Our ethical principles are the values that set the ground rules for all that we do as employees of Advisorbox. As we seek to achieve responsible recruiting success, we will be challenged to balance these principles against each other, always mindful of our promise to others at Advisorbox and to ourselves that we will achieve responsible recruiting success.

Overview

 Advisorbox's purpose for this ethics policy is to establish a culture of openness, trust and integrity in business practices. Effective ethics is a team effort involving the participation and support of every Advisorbox employee.





Advisorbox is committed to protecting employees, partners, vendors and the company from illegal or damaging actions by individuals, either knowingly or unknowingly. When Advisorbox employees addresses issues proactively and uses correct judgment, it will help set us apart from competitors.





Advisorbox will not tolerate any wrongdoing or impropriety at anytime. Advisorbox will take the appropriate measures to act quickly in correcting the issue if the ethical code is broken. Any infractions of this code of ethics will not be tolerated.

Purpose
Our purpose for authoring a publication on ethics is to emphasize the employee's and consumer's expectation to be treated to fair business practices. This policy will serve to guide business behavior to ensure ethical conduct.

Scope
This policy applies to employees, contractors, consultants, temporaries, and other workers at Advisorbox, including all personnel affiliated with third parties.

Management Commitment to Ethics

  • Executive and management level employees within Advisorbox must set a prime example. In any business practice, honesty and integrity must be top priority for executives and managers.
  • Executives/managers must have an open door policy and welcome suggestions and concerns from employees. This will allow employees to feel comfortable discussing any issues and will alert executives/managers to concerns within the work force.
  • Executives/managers must disclose any conflict of interests regard their position within Advisorbox.

Employee Commitment to Ethics

  • Advisorbox employees will treat everyone fairly, have mutual respect, promote a team environment and avoid the intent and appearance of unethical or compromising practices.
  • Every employee needs to apply effort and intelligence in maintaining ethics value.
  • Employees must disclose any conflict of interests regard their position within Advisorbox.
  • Employees will help Advisorbox to increase customer and vendor satisfaction by providing a quality work product and timely response to inquiries.

Maintaining Ethical Practices

  • Advisorbox will reinforce the importance of the integrity message and the tone will start at the top. Every employee, manager, and director needs to consistently maintain an ethical stance and support ethical behavior.
  • Employees at Advisorbox should encourage open dialogue, get honest feedback and treat everyone fairly, with honesty and objectivity.

Unethical Behavior

  • Advisorbox will avoid the intent and appearance of unethical or compromising practice in relationships, actions and communications.
  • Advisorbox will not tolerate harassment or discrimination.
  • Unauthorized use of company trade secrets & marketing, operational, personnel, financial, source code, & technical information integral to the success of our company will not be tolerated.
  • Advisorbox will not permit impropriety at any time during work and we will act ethically and responsibly in accordance with laws.
  • Advisorbox employees will not use corporate assets or business relationships for personal use or gain.

Enforcement

  • Any infractions of this code of ethics will not be tolerated and Advisorbox will act quickly in correcting the issue if the ethical code is broken.
  • Any employee found to have violated this policy may be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment

5. SOCIAL MEDIA POLICY

Email, and Internet usage assigned to an employee's computer or telephone extensions are solely for the purpose of conducting Company business. Some job responsibilities at the Company require access to the Internet and the use of software in addition to the Microsoft Office suite of products.

Internet Usage

  • Internet use, on Company time and on Company owned computers, is authorized to conduct Company business only. Internet use brings the possibility of breaches to the security of confidential Company information. Internet use also creates the possibility of contamination to our system via viruses or spyware. Spyware allows unauthorized people, outside the Company, potential access to Company passwords and other confidential information.
  • Additionally, under no circumstances may Company computers or other electronic equipment be used to obtain, view, or reach any pornographic, or otherwise immoral, unethical, or non-business-related Internet sites. Doing so can lead to disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment.

Email Usage at Company

  • Email is also to be used for Company business only. Company confidential information must not be shared outside of the Company, without authorization, at any time. You are also not to conduct personal business using the Company computer or email.
  • Please keep this in mind, also, as you consider forwarding non-business emails to associates, family or friends. Non-business related emails waste company time and attention.
  • Viewing pornography, or sending pornographic jokes or stories via email, is considered sexual harassment and will be addressed according to our sexual harassment policy.

Emails That Discriminate

  • Any emails that discriminate against employees by virtue of any protected classification including race, gender, nationality, religion, and so forth, will be dealt with according to the harassment policy. These kinds of emails are prohibited at the Company. Sending or forwarding non-business emails will result in disciplinary action that may lead to employment termination.

Company Owns Employee Email

  • Company owns any communication sent via company email or that is stored on company equipment. Management and other authorized staff have the right to access any material in your company email or on your company owned computer at any time.
  • DO NOT consider your electronic communication, storage or access to be private if it is created or stored at work or sent through company domain emails.

6. VIDEO COMMUNICATION POLICY

Video communication through any format (computer, smart phone, iPad or other tablet device) to Advisorbox employees, clients, potential clients and vendors employee will follow the following video policies in their video communications.

Employees and Contractors Will:

  • Take extra caution in their professional representation in video communication.
  • Be dressed in business casual at all times including wearing a collared shirt or other approved clothing.
  • Always conduct a video communication with a professional or plain background behind you and be at a desk or table and never on a bed or in a bathroom.
  • No exposure in anyway that would be considered nudity or offensive.
  • Make advances or overtures in any way that could be in any way conceived as sexual harassment.
  • Never ask for the person you are communicating with to show their body or any body parts in any way on the video.

7. INSTANT MESSENGER AND TEXTING COMMUNICATION POLICY

In any and all instant messaging or texting communication to Advisorbox employees, clients, potential clients and vendors, employee will follow the following policies in their communications.

Employees and Contractors Will:

  • Always be professional in texting and instant messaging messages.
  • Never send inappropriate photos, images or messages.
  • Always conduct a video communication text or instant message by abiding by the Video Communication policy.
  • Never send texts or instant messages that discriminate against employees by virtue of any protected classification including race, gender, nationality, religion, and so forth.
  • Make advances or overtures in any way that could be in any way conceived as sexual harassment.
  • Never send a sexual based text. “Sexting” is strictly prohibited.

8. REPORTING POLICY VIOLATION POLICY

We foster a culture of doing the right thing and not tolerating those who don't. We expect everyone to report anyone of any violations they personally witness of any company policies. Employee will immediately notify their direct report and if the violation was committed by their direct report then to instead notify the CEO directly.
